What didn't go to plan

Not every night went to plan. Three we won't forget.

WhenWhat happenedWhat followed
The US presaleNov 15, 2022 Ticketmaster planned for 1.5 million verified fans. 14 million showed up; the site buckled and the general sale was cancelled. The US Senate held a hearing on ticketing, January 24, 2023.
Rio de JaneiroNov 17, 2023 In extreme heat, a fan, Ana Clara Benevides, 23, fell ill at the show and died. The next night was postponed to November 20. Brazil's justice minister required free drinking water at big shows.
ViennaAug 8 to 10, 2024 Austrian authorities uncovered a terror plot against the shows. All three nights were cancelled. All 170,000 tickets refunded. Austrian TV aired the concert film instead.
