Way 1

Claude Slides: ask for a deck in any chat

Anthropic launched Claude Slides in beta on September 16, 2026. Ask for a deck in an ordinary Claude conversation, edit individual slides, and present straight from Claude. The deck lives at a shareable link, like a Google Doc, and downloads as PowerPoint or PDF. Pro and Max subscribers get it first on web, desktop and mobile; Team and Free plans follow.

Way 2

Claude Design: visual decks you can export anywhere

Claude Design, at claude.ai/design, renders presentations as interactive HTML. Describe the deck, its audience and key messages, then edit slide by slide in the conversation. Export as standalone HTML (which keeps the animation), PowerPoint, PDF, or to Canva, or hand the project to Claude Code to keep building.

Way 3

Claude for PowerPoint: Claude inside your template

The Claude for PowerPoint add-in puts Claude in PowerPoint's side panel. It reads your slide master, layouts, fonts and colors, builds new slides in your template, edits single slides without regenerating the deck, and turns bullets into native charts and diagrams. Install "Claude for Microsoft 365" from Microsoft AppSource and sign in with your Claude account. It is generally available on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, in PowerPoint on the web, Windows and Mac.

Way 4

Claude Code + Pitch Unfairly: decks that don't look AI-made

Pitch Unfairly is a free, open-source skill that has Claude Code compose every slide for its job instead of pouring text into a template. Each deck is a real website with present mode, speaker notes, a phone layout and PDF export, checked by scripts on desktop, on phones and in the PDF. Every deck in our template library, from Airbnb's seed deck to Apollo 13, was built this way, and you can start from any of their structures.

Ask Claude Code for a deck: "Make a seed pitch deck for my company using the Airbnb structure."
On the first deck, the skill installs what it needs on its own. It runs on macOS and Linux; on Windows, use WSL.

It needs a shell, so it works in Claude Code, not in a regular Claude chat. In ChatGPT or Codex, install the Pitch Unfairly plugin instead.

Making Google Slides with Claude

Anthropic's tools don't write Google Slides files directly as of October 5, 2026. Export from Claude Slides or Claude Design as PowerPoint, then open the .pptx in Google Slides, which converts it. Upload it to Google Drive and open it with Slides, or use File, Import slides inside an existing deck.

Can Claude make a PowerPoint?

Yes. Claude Slides and Claude Design both export to PowerPoint (.pptx), and the Claude for PowerPoint add-in builds and edits slides inside PowerPoint itself, using your template.

Can Claude make Google Slides?

Not directly from Anthropic's own tools as of October 2026. Export the deck from Claude Slides or Claude Design as PowerPoint, then open the .pptx in Google Slides, which converts it.

Is Claude Slides free?

Not yet for everyone. Claude Slides launched in beta on September 16, 2026 for Pro and Max subscribers first, with Team and Free plans following later.

Which way is best for a pitch deck?

For a quick internal deck, Claude Slides. For a deck that must match a company template, Claude for PowerPoint. For a fundraising deck that has to stand out, a hand-built web deck from Claude Code with a skill like Pitch Unfairly, which you can send as a link and export as a PDF.

What should I tell Claude to get a good deck?

Who the audience is, the one thing they should believe at the end, the facts and numbers to use, and the structure you want. Borrowing the structure of a deck that worked, like the ones in our template library, beats asking for "a pitch deck".
