Choose Gamma for the fastest first draft

Gamma builds a whole deck from a prompt, pasted notes, an uploaded file, a URL, Google Drive or Notion. It launched Gamma 5 on October 6, 2026, adding an editing agent, a freeform canvas, and connectors for Slack and Granola. PowerPoint and PDF export are on every plan, including Free, where they carry a "Made by Gamma" badge.

The catch is what happens after you send it. Analytics start on Pro, viewers show by name only if they are signed in to Gamma, and views of a published Gamma site aren't counted. Passwords work on docs, not on sites.

Choose Pitch when a team edits slides together

Pitch is a collaborative slide editor with templates, custom fonts from Plus, and Pitch Agent to write or edit a deck. Its advanced links add a passcode, a required email, an expiry date and visit analytics, and its paid plans have no Pitch branding. It also has an MCP server, so Claude can build decks in Pitch.

Most of the sharing controls sit on Team ($23 a month, or $19 a seat billed yearly) and Business. Pitch's pricing page describes a few Team limits differently in its plan card and its comparison table, so check the current numbers before you buy.

Choose a deck that's a website when it has to look designed

Pitch Unfairly works inside ChatGPT, Codex and Claude Code. An AI agent composes every slide for its job instead of filling a layout, and a design review checks every slide before the deck can publish. That review is where our data on the tells of an AI-made deck comes from. The deck is a website with present mode, a phone layout and a PDF.

Every plan can put a password on a deck. Solo and Team add an email gate, verified emails, and a named link for each recipient that shows who read it, for how long and how far they got. There is no PowerPoint file: if your team has to edit the deck in PowerPoint, use Gamma or Pitch.

Gamma and Pitch questions

Is Gamma or Pitch better for pitch decks?

Gamma is faster to a first draft, because it builds a whole deck from a document or a URL. Pitch is better when a team edits slides together and needs controlled links with an email gate. If the deck has to look designed rather than generated, build it as a website with a design review, which is what Pitch Unfairly does.

Which is cheaper, Gamma or Pitch?

Gamma's lowest paid plan is $12 a month ($9 billed yearly) and Pitch's is $15 a month ($13 billed yearly), as of October 22, 2026. Pitch's prices can show differently by region. Gamma counts AI use in credits per plan, and Pitch sells extra AI credits.

Can you see who viewed a Gamma or Pitch deck?

Gamma shows views and time per slide on Pro and above, but only names viewers who are signed in to Gamma, and doesn't count views of published sites. Pitch shows visits and time spent on advanced links, with the viewer's email when you require it, on Team and Business.

Can I export Gamma or Pitch to PowerPoint or Google Slides?

Both export PowerPoint files. Neither exports to Google Slides directly: export the .pptx and open it in Google Slides. Gamma's export leaves out slide masters, and fonts can change in either.

Why doesn't Pitch Unfairly export PowerPoint?

Its decks are websites, which is what lets every slide be composed for its job, work on a phone and report how far each reader got. You share a link or a PDF. If your team has to edit the file in PowerPoint, Gamma or Pitch is the better fit.
